Thinking in 3D is a leap we all need to take to envision, create, and develop in this new world.  This talk will overview some of the ways in which we can extend these design skills to more students were are interested in taking this leap!

Blending Realities: The Future of Co-Creation across Virtual and Physical Worlds at the Canadian Centre for eXtended Realities (CCXR)
This talk overviews UVic’s recent CFI bid that draws together computer scientists and artists to collaborate at a new research facility equipped with virtual-location, motion-capture and spatial-audio production technologies, previously inaccessible in Canada, to investigate facets of a central question: How can digital environments be better engineered, integrated and networked to deepen the psychological immersion and positive social interactivity of XR experiences to connect diverse audiences?
